LEGISLATION RELATING TO THE TRAINING OF PERSONNEL IN FIRE SAFETY
In accordance with Article R. 4227-39 of the Labor Code, it is imperative that fire safety instructions include practical exercises, organized at least every year, allowing staff to familiarize themselves with the use of first aid equipment.
It should be remembered that these instructions must be drawn up for:
establishments where more than fifty people are usually present;
any establishment where substances or preparations classified as explosive, oxidizing or extremely flammable are handled, as well as those presenting risks of explosion or instantaneous ignition, regardless of their size.
In other establishments, directives must be put in place to ensure rapid and efficient evacuation of staff, in accordance with Article R. 4227-37.
